New Faces at Diaconal Ministries

Diaconal Ministries Canada is pleased to announce the hiring of two new team members. Here’s a quick bio on each of these lovely ladies.

Meet our New Financial Coordinator

“I’m thrilled to join the Diaconal Ministries Canada team! Working with Diaconal Ministries as the financial coordinator pairs my professional experience and community service interests within an organization that shares my faith and belief in the purpose and value of our community churches.

“Professionally, my background is financial administration, primarily in the training and employment services sector.

“I am passionate about community service and grassroots community engagement and am a life-long volunteer, participating in a variety of projects and organizations including the historic Katimavik Youth Volunteer Program and a CIDA funded internship during my university days.

“Since moving to Cambridge, ON, a few years ago I’ve been involved with Community Justice Initiatives and the Rare Charitable Research Reserve.

“Beyond working and volunteering, I enjoy quiet and active time in nature. I spend a lot of time at my community garden plot and fit in hiking, camping and paddling adventures whenever I can.

“I look forward to serving as part of the DMC team and being a part of your shared work.”
