Deacon Prayer & Share Time (AB South/Sask)

Join your local DMD, Ms. Jean DeBeer, at the Fall Classis Meeting at Bethel CRC in Saskatoon on Friday, October 26, 2018.

The “Deacon Prayer & Share Time” takes place over the supper break on Friday of the Classis Meeting. This is an opportunity for all the deacons attending the Alberta South and Saskatchewan Fall Classis Meeting to engage in a time of conversation with other deacons. We’ll look at a few of Diaconal Ministries Canada’s Resources and have a time of prayer.

Here are 3 questions to think about before our time together:

  • Why am I a deacon and what do deacons do?
  • How can I best share my abilities as a deacon (what are my gifts)?
  • What are some of our church ministry strengths?
