Join deacons from across Classis Chatham as we gather together for an evening of learning and exploring together what it means to be a deacon in the place God has called you.

*THIS IS FOR NEW AND SEASONED DEACONS!*

We’ll talk about the role of the deacon (what is our mandate?) and the 4 areas of diaconal work: Compassion, Community Ministry, Stewardship, and Mercy/Justice. We’ll share stories, swap ideas and hear about some best practices!
