Day of Encouragement 2017 – Maritimes

John Calvin CRC is pleased to once again be able to host the 2017 Maritime Day of Encouragement! This is a wonderful opportunity to be able to connect as a Christian community from across the Maritimes, as well as a chance to hear some excellent speakers and receive very valuable insights and training on topics that are relevant in our church communities today. It will be a weekend of renewal, encouragement and training for all who work in God’s Kingdom.

Friday night’s keynote speaker is Lesli van Milligen. Pastor Lesli will lead us in an interactive workshop on Faith Formation (inter-generational ministry). There are also lots of interesting workshops planned for Saturday that will cover the areas of Church Lifestyle, Community Engagement, Faith Formation,  LGBTQ+ matters and Transgender/Gender Identity Realities, Equipping Deacons and more.
