NewGround supports these churches and ministries through grant money, coaching, resourcing and by helping these ministries network with others inside and outside their local community.
Community Ministry Partners
Each of these partners has established a community ministry that is making a difference in the lives of people in need. They provide an open door of hope for people to make a fresh start through new choices, skills and opportunities. A door of opportunity is also open for church members to build relationships with people in the community.
Cross Town Impact
An after-school program for vulnerable youth in Brockville, ON. They provide a safe and inclusive space that encourages youth and lets them know they are loved, especially by God. Their "Impact Zone" is a free after-school program for kids including fun games, educational lessons, and a positive encouraging environment!

Crossroads for Prisoners Canada
Crossroads connects people in prison with mentors from churches to develop Christ-centered relationships as they study God's Word together.
With the help of NewGround funding and coaching, Crossroads hopes to re-establish this ministry in several communities across Canada.

Community Counseling Centre of London (CCCL)
The CCCL aims to provide affordable counselling services by qualified psychotherapists to people with a limited income.
In partnership with Good News CRC (London, ON)
Mission Montreal (Christian Direction)
Working through Christian Direction, Mission Montreal will help two local congregations in the east end of the city design long-term missional projects focused on sustainable housing solutions for their unhoused neighbours. NewGround's desire is to help share the learnings from this process, finding answers to the question, “After we do our community assessment, then what?”

Greater Vancouver Youth Unlimited
New Life CRC is partnering with Greater Vancouver Youth Unlimited (YU) to provide a youth worker in the Sumas Prairie, which was devastated by flooding in 2021. The YU worker will provide in-school and after-school programs (including noon-hour supervision, soccer coaching, and mentoring) for youth and families whose mental health was impacted due to the flood and crisis. New Life is providing additional support and volunteers to the program. As YU workers must fundraise their own salaries, NewGround support allows this person to focus more on ministry development and less on fundraising!

Pregnancy & Family Care of Quinte West (PFCQW)
PFCQW provides information, emotional support, and practical help for anyone experiencing an unplanned pregnancy or family related issue. They have recently become a charitable organization of their own after outgrowing their parent pregnancy centre in Belleville, and NewGround is helping them launch!
In partnership with three (3) CRC's in Classis Quinte (ON): Ebenezer CRC (Trenton), Community CRC (Frankford), and Fellowship CRC (Brighton).
