The church does not simply have deacons, but is, by its very nature and calling, a diaconate. The call of deacons is to motivate and mobilize the congregation for works of service (diakonia).
Our resource pages are laid out in the three areas of ministry deacons are involved with: Community Engagement, Stewardship/Benevolence, Mercy & Justice, plus General Administration/Leadership Development.
Most of the resources are provided as downloadable PDFs to help get you started. While these PDFs are meant to be used as tools for you in your ministry, we highly encourage you to get in touch with one of our Diaconal Coaches in order to go deeper — you can even schedule a workshop while you’re at it.
Check out our Resource Guide (pdf) to see what we offer.
