Our Annual General Meetings are open to ALL who are interested in the work of Diaconal Ministries Canada.
This year's AGM will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 8:00pm ET.
The meeting will be held online via Zoom in order to increase accessibility and reach a broader audience.
Our Annual General Meeting is a time to review the mission and mandate of Diaconal Ministries and how we work with deacons and churches across Canada.
We'll spend some time reviewing our Annual Report and Audited Financial Statements from the previous fiscal year, present our new budget, and also hear from a guest speaker who will briefly share about an exciting ministry in Canada.
We'll leave time for questions and/or open discussion.

Have you seen the same people coming back for help, time after time and wondered if your help is really helping?
Our newest Diaconal Coach-at-Large, Ms. Anja Attema, is equipped to help deacons and churches navigate these questions (and more!).
With over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, Anja is passionate about helping families and individuals create the best version of their financial story. Anja knows that a full, clear financial story not only includes income, expenses, debts, and spending habits, but also how finances influence relationships, mental health, and one’s outlook on the future.
In this short presentation, Anja will share stories of lives that have been transformed through financial coaching. She will also highlight key insights—what to look for and what to avoid—to get your church and the people you aim to serve on a better path forward!
AGM VOTING
Every Canadian CRCNA diaconate is entitled to one (1) vote on each question at the AGM.
Those unable to attend the meeting are asked to register their vote online using the form provided. (If you are attending the online meeting, you will have an opportunity to vote then.)
