2. Diaconal Coach (aka Diaconal Ministry Developer) (ongoing):

Are you passionate about helping Deacons get better? Are you interested in walking alongside Church Diaconates as they animate their congregations to do justice, to live stewardly and to engage with their local communities? Are you a self-starter? Then you just might make a great Diaconal Coach! (or Diaconal Ministry Developer as we used to call ’em).

Diaconal Ministry Developers are passionate about leadership development and seeing deacons grow in their abilities and confidence. A Diaconal Coach equips and empowers diaconates.  They help deacons grow in their understanding and capacity as leaders in their church – providing coaching, support, encouragement, and accountability for diaconates.  Experience in diaconal work, as well as in coaching or mentoring, is an asset but is not required.
